Each chosen charity receives £1 each for every tonne that is offset.

CHARITY PARTNER
ACE SMA's primary goal is to raise money in order to fund clinical research into the enhanced benefits of bespoke and regular physiotherapy for children with SMA.
SMA stands for Spinal Muscular Atrophy. It's a rare, genetically inherited neuromuscular condition. Young children's symptoms present themselves at different times depending on the severity of the condition.
Signs of SMA may include muscle weakness, breathing problems, delayed gross motor skills or difficulty with crawling and walking.
The aim of this 2 year project, in partnership with The University of Oxford, will be to gather enough evidence in order to create long term change in the way in which physiotherapy for SMA is funded and provided, as well as run a pilot that can be rolled out across the country.
CHARITY PARTNER
StarterMotor is a historic car charity entirely focussed on the next generation. It does this by providing access to careers through apprenticeships and other training opportunities, working hand-in-glove with partners such as The Heritage Skills Academy, Hero ERA and Goodwood.
It also encourages classic car businesses to engage with the next generation by providing job opportunities. It has a fleet of ’training cars’ for colleges to use and young people to drive. StarterMotor supports over 200 apprentices with a target to grow to more than 500 in the next two years.

Un tour in auto d'epoca a sostegno del progetto ACE
Sabato 2 luglio 2022, i sostenitori si riuniranno presso il quartier generale di HERO-ERA a Bicester Heritage; il primo campus aziendale dedicato all'automobilismo storico con sede nella stazione di bombardieri della RAF della seconda guerra mondiale meglio conservata del Regno Unito. I partecipanti partiranno con le loro auto d'epoca e classiche per uno straordinario tour estivo di guida dell'Oxfordshire, il tutto a sostegno di ACE for SMA.
Una sosta di ospitalità a metà percorso offrirà ai partecipanti una visione privata della collezione F1 del tesoro al Williams Heritage. Di ritorno al quartier generale di HERO-ERA, il pranzo sarà servito sulla terrazza panoramica sopra la galleria delle auto d'epoca, offrendo agli equipaggi la possibilità di condividere esperienze e fare rifornimento prima di un pomeriggio di svolte e svolte sulla famosa pista di prova dell'aeroporto di Bicester Heritage.
HERO-ERA ha reso disponibile l'intera flotta Arrive & Drive per questo evento, garantendo a tutti l'opportunità di guidare un'auto classica nuova o preferita.
I fondi raccolti attraverso l'ACE in Motion Tour 2022 andranno direttamente al progetto di ricerca ACE in collaborazione con MDUK Oxford Neuromuscular Centre, Department of Pediatrics, University of Oxford. Questo progetto finanzierà una sperimentazione di due anni di fisioterapia intensiva insieme a farmaci modificanti la malattia per 20 bambini che attualmente vivono con la SMA.
